This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to design your practice around your professional goals within a premier, tech-forward environment, distinguished as one of the few HIMSS Stage VII facilities in the country.
Responsibilities:
Perform and document a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient Patients per day: 2-10
Call Rotation:
1 weekend per month Develop an appropriate anesthesia care plan based on patient history and surgical needs Select, obtain, and administer the anesthetic, adjuvant, and accessory drugs and fluids Manage patient airway and pulmonary status using masks, endotracheal intubation, or mechanical ventilation Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia by selecting and administering medications Provide post-anesthesia follow-up care and evaluate patient response to anesthesia Support 28 ORs and Non-Operating Room Anesthesia areas including 7 GI suites, Cath Labs, and IR Manage a daily patient volume of 2 to 10 cases depending on complexity Participate in a 1 weekend per month call rotation Utilize AI-functionality within the Epic EMR system for inpatient and outpatient documentation Maintain compliance with HIMSS Stage VII standards for digital medical record sophistication Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff in a multidisciplinary team Adhere to hospital safety protocols and infection control standards Attend departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program Current state registered nurse license Current state advanced practice nurse prescriber license Board Certified or Board Eligible by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists Current ACLS and BLS certifications Proficiency with Epic EMR systems preferred
