Job Description

Join Deaconess Gibson Hospital's growing team as a full-time CRNA! Deaconess Gibson offers a competitive W2 compensation model: Base salary: $316,800 ($180/Hr)
Shift Commitment:
220 8Hr Shifts/Yr Comprehensive benefits including: Health, Vision, and dental insurance Disability Generous CME allowance Retirement plans A Brief Overview Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA's) are registered nurses with advanced training in Anesthesia and advanced airway management. Provides care to patients in hospital and ambulatory setting. Involved in developing the anesthesia care plan, pre-operative care, documenting in the EMR, post-operative care, and communicating complications and/or emergency situations to the surgeon. Responsible to work collaboratively with the members of the care team on critical elements of a case. What you will do Plans/coordinates Pre-operative Assessment Implement patient-specific plan of care Select, order, prescribe and administer anesthetic medications including controlled substances in accordance with practicing state's Codes/Regulations, and State Controlled Substance Registries Select and insert invasive and noninvasive monitoring modalities Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia Select, order, prescribe and administer postanesthetic medications, including controlled substances in accordance with practicing state's Codes/Regulations, and State Controlled Substance Registries Conduct post-anesthesia evaluation Educate patient related to recovery Presents and documents patient data Assures efficient utilization of resources while supporting clinical pathway implementation Participates in the assurance of robust communication system on the patient condition and hand-off Maintains collegial relationship with the interprofessional team involved in the care of the patient Takes responsibility for assuring patient/family satisfaction with care provided Assists with relevant billing documentation and development of efficient billing processes. Education Qualifications Doctoral Degree DNAP Required Experience Qualifications Minimum of one year relevant experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications NBCRNA Required and Indiana License Required
