The CRNA will be responsible for administering Total Intravenous Anesthesia (TIVA) to ASA Class I-III patients undergoing outpatient endoscopic procedures. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia safely and effectively to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient assessments, including review of medical history, medications, and relevant clinical information. Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition throughout procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort. Manage patient airways during procedures using advanced airway management techniques as necessary. Document all aspects of patient care accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR) system while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans. Maintain current knowledge of anesthesia practices, pharmacology, physiology, and patient safety standards. Support compliance with applicable regulatory, accreditation, and patient care standards. Qualifications & Skills Current CRNA certification and licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Previous anesthesia experience in outpatient, procedural, or endoscopy settings preferred. Strong critical care background and advanced patient assessment skills. Proficiency in anesthesiology practices, patient monitoring, and airway management. Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
