From bones to brains, our cutting-edge hospital heals even the most serious of injuries, specializing in everything from total joint replacement to spinal cord injuries and neurological condition. In total, our 141-bed facility welcomes over 3,000 patients every year. As the state's largest provider of inpatient rehabilitation services, we offer some of the most advanced therapies for stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic and sports injury, among many others. Job Description This position provides anesthetic care in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, physicians, and medical professionals in every practice setting throughout UM Rehab & Ortho Institute. The CRNA will administer anesthesia and anesthesia-related care in four general categories:- Pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation
- Anesthesia induction, maintenance and emergence
- Post-anesthesia care
- Peri-anesthetic and clinical support functions
Shift:
Monday - Friday 12-hour shifts; Full Time, Days - no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-callQualifications Education and Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and graduation with a Master's degree from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
- Must hold current licensure from the Maryland State Board of Nurse Examiners to practice nursing and nurse anesthesia.
- Hold current certification or recertification from the National Board on Certification & Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
Additional Information Pay Range:
