Position Type Full-Time Work Environment Inpatient Visa Sponsorship Yes Job description A leading Medical Facility Detroit, Michigan is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative and patient-focused anesthesiology team. This position offers a dynamic inpatient clinical environment, exposure to complex cases, and strong interdisciplinary support. Position Overview The CRNA will deliver high-quality anesthesia care across a wide range of inpatient surgical procedures, working closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Key Responsibilities Provide anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases Perform preoperative assessments and patient education Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures Respond to intraoperative and perioperative emergencies Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Schedule Day shifts only No weekends No on-call requirements Variable start times based on department needs Qualifications Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Active Michigan RN license (required at time of submission) NBCRNA certification Current BLS and ACLS certifications Clean malpractice and licensure history Prior CRNA experience required (new graduates not eligible) DEA and controlled substance registration (required prior to start) Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (based on experience) $40,000 sign-on bonus Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plans Paid time off Malpractice coverage Interview expenses covered (travel, lodging, transportation) Visa sponsorship available (H1B & J1)
