SUPPLEMENTAL - OWATONNA, MN
The CRNA administers the full spectrum of anesthesia including inhalation, intravenous, and regional anesthetics. The CRNA performs and documents a preanesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering preanesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia. In addition, the CRNA will select and implement the appropriate anesthesia plan and document accordingly. The CRNA may function independently or in a medically directed team model with an anesthesiologist. PRN - Owatonna, MN Starting Pay - $150.00/
Hour Qualifications:
Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing Graduate from an approved school of nurse anesthesia Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Current Minnesota State Nursing License Current Minnesota State Advanced Practice Nursing License
BLS, ACLS, PALS
required; NRP preferred (PRN CRNAs exempt from NRP)
Job Responsibilities:
Administers anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures Maintains the patient in the desired anesthetic state by adjusting anesthetic as necessary Records the patient's vital signs and watches for significant changes Administers CPR and airway maintenance in areas other than the OR Maintains a safe physical environment for patients and employees Other duties as assigned.
