Anesthesia SpecialistLOCATION
MILESCITY, MT

What they're seeking: Current Montana professional nursing license. Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program. Current certification as a nurse anesthetist from the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or equivalent. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is a must. 1-2 years of experience to work independently and handle blocks.Hours and compensation potential:
Full-time position with a schedule of 2 weeks on and 1 week off (typically 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm) with rotating night and weekend call. Call is every other day and every other weekend, not during the week off. Salary range between $236K-$300K plus comprehensive benefits, including relocation/sign-on package, retention bonuses, education reimbursement, and temporary housing.Responsibilities include:
Providing direct and indirect anesthesia and anesthesia-related care for perioperative services, obstetrical services, pain management, and other areas as required. Utilizing the nursing process for data collection, assessment, prioritization of patient needs, and development/implementation/evaluation of anesthetic care plan. Exhibiting critical thinking skills to ensure the delivery of safe, quality, age-specific care. Managing pain relief, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, pulmonary care, and critically ill patients. Collaborating with other healthcare team members and following organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards.Additional Info:
The facility includes a 25-bed critical access hospital and an extended care facility. Fantastic team environment with Ortho Surgeons, a general surgeon, OB providers, and a Podiatrist on staff. Visiting ENT and Urology providers also perform cases. CRNAs work autonomously and must be able to handle blocks, typically requiring 1-2 years of experience.
