Rowan Medical Center - Salisbury, NC; At 266 beds, Rowan is Novant's 4th largest hospital and has been serving the area since 1936 The CRNA Lead provides professional, competent anesthesia care to a wide variety of patients, from pediatric up to geriatric population, requiring surgical, obstetrical, and other anesthesia services. This opportunity will include a m ixture of helping run the OR board and taking on assignments. This role is ideal for experienced CRNAs looking to grow their leadership skills within a high-performing, collaborative team. A dynamic full-time opportunity with exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties Access to continuing education and leadership support Inclusive culture grounded in teamwork, trust, and shared purpose What You'll Do Facilitate day to day schedule management Supervise anesthesia technicians Encourage communication and promote teamwork Participate in interviews Promote excellent customer service with patients/physicans/staff Assure policies/procedures are adhered to Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatrics through geriatric populations Administer anesthetics for a wide variety of surgical and non-surgical procedures Monitor patients throughout anesthesia and recovery Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams Adjust anesthetic plans as needed based on changing patient status Practice independently within full CRNA scope of privileges
What We're Looking For Education :
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN required. Graduate from both an accredited School of Nursing and School of Nurse Anesthesia. Listed on the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and recognized by the state of practice as an Advanced Practitioner. Must have 40 hours of continuing education every two years to maintain CRNA certification.
Experience :
Minimum of two years experience as a CRNA, required.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. CRNA by NBCRNA, required. Additional Skills (required): Must have extensive knowledge of current anesthetic agents, techniques, drugs and equipment. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify the anesthetic care suitable to patient age. Must have considerable ability to make independent decisions, sometimes under stress, and to maintain a professional demeanor with patients, coworkers and physicians. Why Choose Novant Health?
