As a Locum CRNA, you will play a critical role in administering anesthesia during surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort. This position allows you to contribute to diverse cases while enhancing your clinical skills in a supportive setting. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patient vitals and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Collaborate with surgeons and medical staff to develop anesthesia care plans Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations Provide education and support to patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations Document all anesthesia-related procedures and patient interactions accurately Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and practices Requirements Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred Current CRNA certification and state licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical anesthesia setting Strong knowledge of anesthesia drugs and techniques Excellent patient assessment and monitoring skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort
Level I Trauma Schedule:
7a-3:30p or 7a-5:30p 9 ORs, 3 endoscopy suites, 2 EP labs
Case Types:
General, urology, trauma, neurology, gynecologic oncology, ortho, ortho trauma,
EP, GI, GYN, and OB Care Team Model:
1:4 supervision
EMR:
Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
