This full-time or part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver expert anesthesia care in a fast-paced outpatient environment. You will be responsible for providing safe, effective anesthesia services to diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adults, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Your expertise in airway management, physiology, and medication administration will be vital in supporting our mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Duties Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures across various specialties, including orthopedics, ENT, ophthalmology, and more Conduct thorough preoperative patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and risk evaluation to develop individualized anesthesia plans Monitor patients continuously during procedures using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document anesthesia care accurately and efficiently Manage airway techniques and respond swiftly to airway emergencies using advanced airway management skills Administer medications safely via injections and IV lines while adhering to HIPAA standards for patient privacy and confidentiality Oversee patient recovery post-anesthesia by monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and ensuring safe discharge protocols are followed according to NCQA standards Collaborate with surgical teams, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless perioperative care delivery and uphold hospital experience standards Experience Proven critical care experience in settings such as ICU or emergency departments is highly valued Prior experience working with pediatric and geriatric populations within anesthesiology or related fields is preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to anesthesia practice Demonstrated proficiency in airway management techniques and patient monitoring during complex procedures Familiarity with SIS EMR systems or similar EHR platforms for medical documentation and patient data tracking Experience working in hospital environments or outpatient surgical centers that meet NCQA standards for quality care Knowledge of pain management strategies and medication administration protocols in accordance with safety guidelines Join us in delivering exceptional anesthesia care that makes a difference!
