Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania. This position offers a great schedule with a Monday-Friday workweek and no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. The role will focus on providing anesthesia services at a busy multispecialty outpatient surgery center in a community near Cochranville, PA.

Ongoing assignment with potential for long-term coverage
Schedule :
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30
PM Setting :
Outpatient Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
Case Types :
Adult and pediatric cases across various specialties, including: ENT General surgery Gastroenterology (GI) Podiatry Plastics Vascular Gynecology (GYN)
Dental Orthopedics Requirements Licensure :
PA license preferred but not required; candidates without an active PA license will be considered
Certifications :
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience with Specialized Anesthesia Techniques (preferred but not required): General anesthesia, spinal, and epidural anesthesia Regional anesthesia techniques Post-op epidurals and extremity blocks Pain management techniques, including lumbar and cervical epidural steroid injections Ventilation management and blood pressure/volume management Central line and arterial line placement Equipment and Documentation Electronic Medical Records (EMR) :
SIS Complete Equipment :
Drager anesthesia machines Pyxis medication dispensing systems
Facility Highlights Environment :
Collaborative and supportive outpatient setting, no inpatient responsibilities
Support Staff :
Fully staffed team with no supervisory or teaching requirements for locum providers
Certification Level :
Non-trauma and non-pediatric specific facility, no inpatient beds
Privileges :
Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available for streamlined start
Travel and Accommodations :
Travel expenses covered
Additional Information Scheduling Needs :
The assignment is due to a scheduling need, and flexibility is appreciated
Holiday Coverage :
None required (holidays off)
Credentialing Timeline :
