Job Description

Description This on-site contract position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality anesthesia care in a fast-paced medical practice environment. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and effective anesthesia services to a diverse patient population. Your expertise will directly contribute to our commitment to patient care excellence and help us maintain our reputation as a leader in the medical field. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients for anesthesia Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Manage post-anesthesia recovery and provide patient care Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and protocols Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Educate patients and their families regarding anesthesia processes Adhere to safety and quality standards in anesthesia practice Requirements Associate's degree in Nursing and CRNA certification Previous experience in anesthesia practice is preferred Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment Commitment to patient-centered care and safety Current nursing and anesthesia licensure in the state of practice
Schedule:
10 or 12-hour day shifts
Case Types:
General Surgery, vascular, healthy peds, neonates/sick peds, OB, high risk OB, trauma, ortho, neuro (heads), neuro (spine), thoracic, urology, gynecological, ENT, endoscopy, ophthalmology, and plastics
EMR:
Epic 3 years of experience preferred, specifically in a trauma center Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses
