About Us:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. As a CRNA at the Nashville VA Medical Center, you will provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures. Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement anesthesia care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and document anesthesia care and procedures. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in anesthesia care.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program. Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA). Valid and unrestricted nursing license. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to providing high-quality, Veteran-centric care.
