Job Description
Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) for a short-term locum/travel contract opportunity in Tyler, TX — coverage needed for the month of August. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CRNAs, Nurse Anesthetists, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists looking to work in a high-quality surgical environment serving a wide range of patient populations, from pediatric to geriatric, across multiple specialty service lines. CRNA Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for a diverse caseload including orthopedics, ENT, oral rehabilitation, ophthalmology, and spine procedures Provide safe anesthetic care across all age groups — pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans Monitor and manage patient vitals, anesthetic depth, and hemodynamic stability throughout all procedures Oversee patient emergence from anesthesia and coordinate post-operative handoff with clinical staff Accurately document all anesthetic care in the patient record CRNA Requirements Current CRNA certification through the NBCRNA Active Texas RN and APRN licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (MSN or DNAP) BLS and ACLS certification required Experience with pediatric and multi-specialty surgical cases strongly preferred Strong clinical adaptability across varied patient populations and case types Schedule Locum/Travel | Guaranteed 40-hour work week; overtime available after 40 hours Monday-Friday, 5x8-hour shifts August coverage only Job Highlights Broad, stimulating caseload — ortho, ENT, oral rehab, eyes, and spine across all age groups Guaranteed 40-hour work week with OT opportunity Defined August timeline — ideal for CRNAs seeking a focused short-term assignment Work in a well-equipped, multi-specialty surgical setting Why Join Vigilant Healthcare Solutions?
