Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for our client in Wisconsin!

Responsibilities:

Administer anesthesia primarily in the OR under an MDA supervision model; MDAs manage pre•post-ops, routine orders, and regional blocks Manage a diverse mix including general, GI, OB, neuro, vascular, ortho (spinals for total joints), healthy peds, ENT, urology, EP lab, MRI, and occasional IR Opportunities available for independent blocks, epidurals, and spinals for C-sections Collaborate closely with MDAs to ensure smooth scheduling and daily morning/lunch breaks

Qualifications:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Minimum 1 year of clinical CRNA experience Board-Certified or Board-Eligible status Active state medical license matching the facility's location

Schedule:

Predictable, full-time schedule within a 14-week block rotation

Shift Details:

Shifts are 8 or 10 hours (7:00 AM•3:00 PM or 7:00 AM•5:00 PM); 12-hour shifts available to support EP services or call coverage

Schedule Details:

Six weeknights and one weekend shift every 14 weeks. Second-call beeper from home/hotel for emergencies, complex cases, or difficult airways (MDAs handle first-call)

Practice Setting:

Outpatient ambulatory community health center

Credentialing Timeframe:

60-90 days

Skills:

Strong proficiency in general, spinal, and epidural anesthesia across multi-specialty caseloads Confident handling unexpected critical events and difficult airways during on-call hours Excellent communication skills for a tight-knit, team-oriented
