Job Description

Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Veteran Evaluations No Treatment | No On-Call | Flexible Schedule Huntsville, AL The IMA Group is seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to perform medical disability evaluations for our Veteran Affairs (VA) line of business. This role offers a predictable schedule with no treatment responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for providers seeking flexibility while continuing to make a meaningful impact on the lives of veterans.
Schedule:
2 days per week based on clinic needs and provider availability Full-time opportunities available for interested candidates
What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations for veterans applying for VA disability benefits Review medical histories, service records, and supporting documentation Perform focused physical examinations Document findings and complete detailed, objective reports using our user-friendly electronic system Collaborate with support staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of evaluations
What You'll Need:
Active Nurse Practitioner license in Alabama Strong clinical assessment skills Experience in primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, occupational health, orthopedics, or a related specialty preferred Excellent documentation and communication skills Why Join The IMA Group?
