Full Job Description Overview:

Responsibilities:
Increase our ability to evaluate general interventional radiology problems: the demand of the the service has been steadily and sharply increasing. Perform out-patient and inpatient interventional radiology evaluations and procedures. Knowledgeable about interventional radiology procedures Evaluate new general IR patients See follow up patients from hospital in the clinic setting Take patients calls and discuss results with parents Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards Regular and prompt attendance Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required Related duties as assigned
Additional Information:
Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in nursing from an accredited institution and completion of an approved nurse practitioner training program Required NPC
  • Certified Nurse Practitioner Required Licensed Nurse Practitioner with the state of Alabama Required RN
  • Registered Nurse
  • State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama Required Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
