Overview We are seeking a dynamic Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patient populations Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including psychopharmacology treatments Provide psychotherapy and behavioral health interventions tailored to each patient's needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic patient care Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth for accurate documentation Educate patients and families on mental health conditions, medication use, and coping strategies Engage in telehealth sessions to expand access to psychiatric services across various settings Qualifications Valid certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC or equivalent) in good standing Active state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner with psychiatric specialization Proven experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings, including outpatient clinics or hospitals Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, including botulinum toxin treatment options where applicable Familiarity with Credible EMR/EHR system Experience working with diverse populations, including children, geriatrics, and individuals Ability to perform clinical assessments, medication administration, and patient education effectively Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to transforming mental health care through innovation and compassion.
