The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a variety of patient types. This role requires a strong understanding of patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Provide patient centered care in an outpatient clinic Conduct comprehensive patient assessments Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to develop effective treatment plans. Engage in utilization review/prior authorization processes to ensure appropriate patient care and resource management. Collaborate with physicians, advanced care practitioners, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices Understand nuances of unique patient populations including those identifying as LGBTQ+ as well as those in active addiction. Requirements Current unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License in Arizona. Current unrestricted DEA License. 3+ years of experience in a outpatient medical setting, preferrable primary care. LGBTQ+ Patient comfort. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. We welcome all applications.
