We are hiring for several positions with opportunities to transition to outpatient clinic services or a combination of both. In this role, you will work closely with physicians to evaluate patients, coordinate care, and support continuity of care. The position is structured to provide a consistent and organized workflow, with a focus on patient care, clear communication, and team collaboration.
Responsibilities :
1.
Inpatient / Hospital
Services Perform inpatient consultations for gastrointestinal conditions Conduct daily follow-up evaluations and assist with patient management Coordinate care with hospital teams, including hospitalists and specialists Assist with admissions, discharges, and transitions of care Review labs, imaging, and clinical status to support decision-making Communicate plans clearly with patients, families, and care teams 3. Care Coordination Ensure continuity of care between hospital and outpatient settings Arrange follow-up appointments and necessary testing Communicate results and updates to patients in a timely manner Work with staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and care delivery 4. Skills Strong clinical knowledge in gastroenterology and general medicine Ability to perform thorough patient evaluations and develop care plans Proficiency in EHR documentation Clear and professional communication with patients and healthcare teams Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work within structured workflows Team-oriented approach 5. Qualifications Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license (Arizona or eligible) Board certification required Experience in gastroenterology preferred, but not required Experience in hospital-based care is a plus 6.
