Job Description

A small pain management clinic is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our pain management practice in a structured three-day workweek schedule (Monday through Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break). The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive patient care, including evaluations, follow-up visits, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education. This role is ideal for a provider who values consistency in scheduling while delivering high-quality, patient-centered pain management care. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain conditions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness in accordance with state and federal regulations Review diagnostic studies, laboratory results, and imaging reports Perform follow-up evaluations and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medication use, and lifestyle modifications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, clinical guidelines, and practice policies Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Arizona (ATD and/or probation can apply) National certification as FNP, AGNP, or related specialty DEA registration with prescribing authority Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and patient education abilities Ability to work independently and within team setting Preferred Experience recblid ixnzbm1door6a0tzaoikjt7tzetowv Master's Degree
