Job Description
Job description We are an established Pain Management Practice seeking a Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. As a Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, regardless of experience in this field, you would be required to work closely with our Double Board Certified Medical Director, so bring your team spirit and a positive attitude. Patience, problem-solving skills and communication ability are important. If you're dedicated to advancing your knowledge and clinical expertise through research and professional discourse, we'd like to meet you. Pay is depending on experience, PTO and Holiday pay. (Health Benefits, Dental Vision, and Life Insurance, and 401k.
Responsibilities:
Examine patients and their medical records. Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.) Diagnose health conditions and illnesses. Review medical records with Medical Director. Propose treatments for chronic pain. Prescribe medications. Maintain accurate records and schedules. Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications. Educate patients and their family members on pain management care plans and procedures. Oversee patients' overall health. Promote good health practices. Advance professional knowledge and conduct research.Skills:
Proven experience as a Physicians assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting. Knowledge of health and patient care regulations. preferably someone with Urgent Care, Ortho, Spine experience. Excellent communication skills. Strong ethics. Team spirit with a positive attitude. Patience and cool-headedness. Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience. Valid Physician's Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License. Master's degree; PhD is a plus.Job Classification:
