Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, A Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in private practice delivers comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, acting as an autonomous provider or alongside a collaborating physician. Responsibilities include physical exams, diagnosing acute/chronic illnesses, prescribing medications, and focusing on disease prevention and health education. Your expertise will support patient-centered care through accurate assessments, effective treatment plans, and health education. Duties Clinical Evaluation:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments, collect medical histories, and perform thorough physical examinations.
Diagnostics:
Order, perform, and interpret laboratory work, X-rays, and other diagnostic tests.
Treatment & Management:
Develop personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and manage chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
Patient Education:
Counsel patients on diet, disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and overall wellness.
Collaboration:
Coordinate care with specialists, executive staff, and the practice's supervising or lead physicians as required by state scope of practice laws.
Administration:
Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical record (EMR) charting and ensure compliance with medical confidentiality standards. Administer injections, perform venipuncture, IV insertions, and other procedures following HIPAA guidelines and best practices for patient safety. Provide patient education on disease prevention, medication administration, lifestyle modifications, and post-acute care instructions. Collaborate with Executive team in the Healthcare center to optimize patient outcomes.
Experience Education:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
Certification:
Current, active FNP certification (e.g., AANP or ANCC).
Licensure:
Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure and DEA registration in the relevant state (e.g., Arizona).
Experience:
Usually 1-2 years of direct primary care or specialty experience.
Skills:
Proficiency with EMR systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) documentation processes, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent interpersonal communication. Experience providing care in diverse settings. Strong background in infectious disease management and urgent/emergency response procedures. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Pay:
$110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
