Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner, where your expertise will directly impact patient care and well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine appropriate care plans. Administer medications, injections, and IV infusions.. Manage acute pain, chronic conditions, and complex cases across multiple diagnosis Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, discharge planning, and follow-up procedures. Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care for remote or underserved populations. Assist with diagnostic evaluations using laboratory experience, or medical imaging when necessary; support infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance. Skills Proven experience with Epic EMR systems or similar EHR platforms such as eClinical Works, Cerner or Citrix. Skilled in reading laboratory and imaging reports as well as spinal tap procedures. Critical care experience in ICU or Level I/II trauma centers; hospital medicine or emergency room backgrounds are highly valued. Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding for accurate medical documentation and billing processes. Experience in diverse clinical environments including outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice & palliative medicine settings. Strong background in adult (internal medicine), geriatrics (memory care), and behavioral health services. Familiarity with occupational health protocols such as workplace injury management under workers' compensation law. Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on anatomy knowledge and physiology; adept at managing airway management and ventilator support when needed. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; experience in post-acute care or home care settings is advantageous.
