Our comprehensive pediatric programs and services are designed to bring hope and healing to children and adolescents who face complex psychiatric, behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders. We strive to cater our approach to treatment to the needs of each child who comes into our care. Treatment programs at Laurel Heights Hospital are structured for youth ages 6-17 who are dealing with general psychiatric difficulties and trauma. We also offer specialty mental health programs for children with co-occurring neurodevelopmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Stand-alone behavioral facility with Acute Inpatient and Residential Child/Adolescent populations ages 7-17.H&Ps, Medical Sick Call Support /
Care Team:
Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists EMR /
Technology:
HCS Responsibilities The duties include admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups for child and adolescent patients in our behavioral health inpatient, residential treatment facility. The patient population will include both male and female children and adolescents ages 7-17 years of age with diverse psychiatric issues to include autism. Medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues is in the scope of patient care under the Practitioner. There is a full team of diverse psychiatry physician staff at the hospital for collaboration between them and the FNP. Document care using HCS. Compensation & Benefits Competitive PRN compensation Flexible schedule Malpractice Qualifications PhD or Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognized school of nursing Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Georgia or willingness to obtain licensure in the State of Georgia.
