  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing dermatology team in Fresno, CA.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various skin conditions. The role requires a strong foundation in dermatological practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough dermatological assessments and evaluations, including history taking and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of skin conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending therapies. Perform minor dermatological procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments (e.g., Botox, fillers). Provide patient education on skin care practices, preventive measures, and treatment options. Collaborate with dermatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay current with advancements in dermatology and participate in relevant continuous education and training opportunities. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction surveys, and departmental meetings.
  • Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
Current Nurse Practitioner license in California (or eligible). Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) preferred; Dermatology certification desirable. Previous experience in dermatology or a similar clinical setting is highly desirable. Proficient in dermatological assessment, diagnostic procedures, and treatment modalities. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
