32 Hours/Week | 10:00 AM-6:00 PM | Rotating weekends & holidays Pay Range:
$93-103/hour Overview A growing membership-based healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide urgent and emergent care for adult and pediatric patients in a high-touch, patient-centered outpatient clinic environment. The ideal candidate is confident managing acute presentations, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and excels at delivering high-touch, concierge-level service while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and discretion. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive medical evaluations and develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans for adult and pediatric urgent and emergent care presentations. Deliver care across multiple environments, including clinical centers, virtual telemedicine consultations, and patient home visits. Perform medical procedures including:
Peripheral IV placement Medication and fluid administration Phlebotomy Splinting Suturing Electrocardiograms (EKGs) Point-of-care testing Triage incoming patient concerns and assess clinical needs in a timely and effective manner. Document all patient encounters, assessments, and treatment plans accurately within the electronic health record. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, technicians, house call teams, and external healthcare partners to ensure seamless continuity of care. Evaluate and manage infectious and viral illnesses, including specimen collection, testing, and symptom management. Maintain adherence to organizational policies, clinical protocols, and quality standards. Participate in operational initiatives and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Active California Nurse Practitioner license. Graduate degree from an accredited NP program. 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience in Emergency Medicine or high-acuity Urgent Care. Current DEA, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications. Proficiency in IV placement, phlebotomy, and medication administration. Ability to independently manage urgent and emergent presentations. Preferred Experience in concierge, executive health, or other premium patient-care settings. Familiarity with AthenaHealth and healthcare technology platforms.
