Burbank, CA Pay:
$130,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year + monthly census-based bonus Compensation structure is designed to provide predictable base income with additional upside tied to clinic demand.

Company Overview Institutes of Health (IOH) is expanding its behavioral health services in Burbank, CA and is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This role is designed for an independent psychiatric provider comfortable managing outpatient psychiatric care with minimal supervision in a collaborative, team-based environment. This position is not appropriate for new graduates or providers requiring structured psychiatric training. The Role As a Psychiatric NP with IOH, you will provide outpatient behavioral healthcare focused on: PTSD and trauma-related conditions Mood and anxiety disorders Complex medically and behaviorally comorbid patients Chronic pain and functional impairment-related psychiatric conditions You will collaborate with neurology, PM&R, psychology, pain management, and rehabilitation services to deliver a biopsychosocial, team based approach to care. What You'll Do Independently conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions related to injury and trauma Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management Perform risk assessments and clinical decision-making Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers (neurology, PM&R, Psychology, Pain Management) Monitor patient progress and adjust care to support functional recovery and outcomes Ideal Candidate This role is ideal for a Psychiatric NP who: Has independent psychiatric practice experience Enjoys managing complex behavioral health and trauma related cases Thrives in a biopsychosocial care model Is focused on patient outcomes and long term recovery Is seeking a balance, lower stress alternative to high volume practice This position is not appropriate for new graduates or providers requiring structured psychiatric training or onboarding. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of independent psychiatric practice experience (NP required) Active and unrestricted California NP license (required) DEA certification Proven ability to manage psychiatric patients with clinical autonomy Experience with PTSD, trauma, or complex psychiatric populations Why IOH?
