Nurse Practitioner (NP)

$70-$8/hr. Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our occupational health team. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, providing preventive care, and supporting high-quality occupational health services in accordance with state laws, medical protocols, and company policies. This role is ideal for an NP with experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency care who is comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting and providing compassionate, professional patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventive health screenings. Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical outcomes. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved protocols and best practices. Prescribe or recommend appropriate medications, treatments, therapies, and related procedures within scope of practice. Observe, evaluate, and document patient conditions, treatment responses, and significant incidents. Perform and manage diagnostic testing, including blood draws, urine drug screens, pulmonary function tests, EKGs, injections, audiograms, and other lab work. Ensure proper chain of custody and documentation for drug screens and laboratory testing. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and state regulations. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and clinical staff to coordinate referrals, consultations, and treatment services. Support continuity and quality of care within the clinic setting. Ensure clinical equipment is properly operated, calibrated, maintained, and documented. Follow all company policies, clinical protocols, state regulations, and industry standards. Participate in ongoing professional development and Continuing Medical Education (CME) as required. Perform additional clinical duties as directed by the Center Medical Director. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university. Master's Degree in Nursing or related health field from an accredited college or university. Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency care preferred. Strong understanding of occupational health, workers' compensation, clinical protocols, and rehabilitation services. Ability to perform diagnostic and ancillary services, including drug screens, blood draws, PFTs, EKGs, injections, audiograms, and lab work. Excellent communication, documentation, and patient care skills. Ability to handle confidential information in compliance with HIPAA and applicable privacy laws. Professional, service-oriented, detail-focused, and flexible.
