In this role, you will provide direct patient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare experiences while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive direct patient care, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. Evaluate and treat patients independently as an attending provider in both urgent care and primary care settings. Obtain and document complete patient medical histories using the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Complete accurate and timely progress notes for every patient encounter, including Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) documentation. Cover and support other primary care physicians in evaluating and treating private practice patients as needed. Promote a warm, friendly, and exceptional patient experience at every visit. Maintain strict patient confidentiality and safeguard medical records in compliance with all HIPAA regulations. Prescribe medications, pharmaceuticals, and treatment plans appropriate to assessed medical conditions. Diagnose and manage common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions in collaboration with supervising physicians when appropriate. Perform therapeutic procedures including injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care, and infection management. Develop and implement individualized patient management and continuity-of-care plans. Assist with medical chart reviews, patient follow-up, and quality assurance initiatives. Educate and counsel patients regarding treatment compliance, preventive care, wellness, family planning, emotional health concerns, and healthy lifestyle practices. Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including referrals and follow-up documentation. Collaborate regularly with physicians and leadership regarding patient care, chart reviews, and clinical standards. Work closely with MDs, DOs, PAs, and NPs in a collaborative and highly respected clinical environment. Act as a liaison with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure consistent adherence to customer care standards and medical treatment protocols. Meet productivity and performance standards established by the Chief Medical Officer and senior leadership. Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned by executive leadership. Qualifications Active and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state. Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or related field preferred. Experience in Urgent Care, Primary Care, or Family Practice preferred. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient care skills. Proficiency with EMR systems and medical documentation. Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care.
