Job Summary:
Part time evenings & Weekends We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team . In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary and specialty healthcare to women across their lifespan—from adolescence through menopause. You will work collaboratively with our physicians to manage a diverse patient load, performing routine exams, diagnosing acute and chronic conditions, and providing essential prenatal and postnatal care. This position is uniquely designed for a Nurse Practitioner seeking to supplement their current full-time schedule.Part-Time/PRN Status:
We offer a flexible, part-time arrangement that allows you to maintain your primary clinical role while gaining additional experience in an OBGYN outpatient setting.Key Responsibilities Clinical Care:
Conduct well-woman exams, Pap smears, pelvic examinations, and screenings for STIs.Obstetric Management:
Provide comprehensive prenatal care, monitor fetal development, and manage postpartum recovery.Diagnostic & Procedures:
Order and interpret laboratory tests, ultrasounds, and mammograms. Perform in-office procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals and colposcopies.Patient Education:
Counsel patients on reproductive health, family planning, contraceptive options, and menopause management.Treatment Planning:
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, prescribe medications (within state guidelines), and coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary.Collaboration:
Work closely with supervising physicians and medical staff to ensure a seamless continuity of care.Required Skills & Qualifications Education:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.Licensure:
Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (NP) and Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.Certification:
Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with OBGYN experience.Prescriptive Authority:
Current DEA registration and state-specific prescriptive authority.Ideal Candidate Attributes Compassion:
