About Us:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and caring Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care and acute care services for pediatric patients, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes. This position serves a large Spanish-speaking community and a significant Medi-Cal patient population, so cultural competence and experience with underserved populations are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform well-child visits, sick visits, developmental screenings, and physical exams. Diagnose and manage common pediatric illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings. Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice. Educate children and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and developmental milestones. Maintain thorough and accurate electronic medical records (EMR). Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals for comprehensive care. Participate in quality improvement activities and continuing education.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (NP) or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. Current and unrestricted RN/APRN license (for NP) or PA license and NCCPA certification (for PA) in California. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
