GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Western Sierra Medical Clinic is seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for our Grass Valley clinic. The Urgent Care Physician will be responsible for providing preventative and acute care for all patients. The successful candidate will have a positive and caring attitude, understanding the needs of the patient population, and addressing them with compassion and sensitivity. About Western Sierra Medical Clinic Nestled in the Sierra Nevada region, Western Sierra Medical Clinic offers quality medical, behavioral health, and dental services and has an onsite pharmacy and lab for physician and patient conveniences. Western Sierra Medical Clinic started in 1975 as a small clinic in Downieville to serve the small town's residents and tourists visiting the region. Since then, Western Sierra Medical Clinic has expanded its services and service area with locations across the Nevada, Placer, Sierra, and Yuba counties. Working at Western Sierra Medical Clinic Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance 100% covered for employees 11 holidays 4 weeks PTO 401k Plan with employer contributions Paid training Reimbursement for license, DEA, and other regulatory fees Tuition reimbursement opportunities through HRSA and other agencies Salary Range for this position is $130,000-150,000 annually. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Valid California license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant. Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) PALS provider card as required by CMO Computer literate (i.e. logging on to computer, usage of keyboard and mouse, familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel).
