$100 - $105/hr Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Women's Health Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a temporary assignment in Irvine, California. This is an outpatient-only opportunity at a well-established Memorial Care location, with the potential for contract extension. Benefits for Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA): Weekly and Overtime pay Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance 401K Retirement Plan (matching) Full-service credentialing and licensing department Dedicated lodging & logistics team $1,500 Referral Bonus Qualifications of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA): Active California NP/PA License Active BLS or ACLS certification Board Certified EPIC experience required DEA Certification Duties/Responsibilities of Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA): Conduct well-woman exams and routine gynecologic care. Perform initial OB visits, prenatal care, postpartum visits, and incision checks. Confirm pregnancies using bedside ultrasound. Evaluate and treat conditions such as UTIs, STIs, menopause symptoms, breast pain, and hormone-related concerns. Perform office procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal, biopsies, colposcopies, LEEPs, endometrial biopsies, cryotherapy, and cyst drainage. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans. Educate patients on preventive care, reproductive health, and treatment options. Document patient encounters in EPIC and collaborate with the care team. Manage an average of 18-21 patients per day in an outpatient setting.
