JOB DESCRIPTION
Nurse Practitioner SUMMARY Nanoom Medical Group is looking for a Family/Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Los Angeles, CA! The clinicians we seek are those who practice medicine with a focus on patient care, not volume. RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate new patient consultation and health history review (face to face or telehealth) Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients Orders, reviews and interprets diagnostic tests, including x-rays, blood work, and scans Recommend further treatment options or future appointments if needed Provide referrals to other providers, when necessary Provide after-care/ongoing care information to patients and their families Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc. Analyze reports, test results, medical records and examinations to diagnose condition of patients and propose treatment options. Discuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up to date before prescribing medication/treatment. Provide advice to patients for lifestyle and diet changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing. Record complete, timely and legible medical records. All other duties as reasonable assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Unrestricted California State Medical License Current California DEA Certificate required to start
MSN, DNP
Proficient in EHR medical charting and computer-based data management programs/information systems Experience assisting with primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience after graduation is preferred
POSITION DETAILS 18-25
patients per day (40 mins for new patients and annual wellness visits, 20 mins for follow-ups) Primarily Adult patients Preventative Medicine / Capitated HMO population, Original-Fee-for-service Medicare No Call, 100% Outpatient Careers with Nanoom Medical Group.
