Job Description
Job Overview A busy and growing Urology practice in the Coachella Valley is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient specialty team. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the supervising physician and clinical staff to provide high-quality care for patients with a wide range of urological conditions affecting both men and women. This role includes conducting patient evaluations, managing follow-up care, reviewing diagnostic results, developing treatment plans, and assisting with in-office procedures as needed. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent patient care. Urology experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with a strong clinical background and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. ___________________________________________________________________________________________ Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient Urology setting Perform patient assessments, follow-up visits, and treatment planning Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and treatment options Assist with men's and women's urological health management Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostic testing Document accurately within the EMR system Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care Assist with in-office procedures and follow-up care as needed Qualifications Active California Nurse Practitioner license Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or related) DEA license preferred Urology experience preferred but not required Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment EMR experience preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within a growing specialty practice Monday-Friday schedule Paid time off and benefits package available based on employment status Preferred Traits Positive attitude Strong bedside manner Team player Efficient and detail-oriented Willingness to learn and grow within the specialty If you are interested in joining a growing Urology practice in the Coachella Valley, please submit your resume and qualifications for consideration.
