Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, Neurosurgery, Inpatient

Opportunity Information Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team in San Francisco, California . This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a highly collaborative and nationally recognized team of neurosurgeons and advanced practice clinicians providing high-quality inpatient care, with some outpatient exposure. About the Opportunity The selected NP/PA will play a vital role in managing hospitalized neurosurgery patients while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and exceptional patient outcomes. The position is primarily inpatient-focused , with opportunities to participate in outpatient activities for continuity of care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

EDUCATION

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program

LICENSURES & CERTIFICATIONS

• PA-Physician Assistant or NP-Nurse Practitioner
• CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA)
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
• Other - certification based on department requirements.

EXPERIENCE

• Surgical or neurosurgery experience strongly preferred
