Electronic (Using your CalCareer Account) Job Description and Duties The Nurse Practitioner- Psychiatric (Safety) will be supervised by a Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor and may receive clinical supervison from a Staff Psychiatrist in the Medical Staff Department at the Department of State Hospitals
- Atascadero (ASH). The incumbent will be responsible for the following duties but not limited to:
- Provides clinical assessment and case management services to patients.
- Interacts with unit staff and assigned patients on a variety of daily psychiatric issues.
- Provides required documentation and reports.
- Participates in medical staff activities and serves on committees.
- Participates in departmental and hospital wide shakedowns.
