Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic and rewarding healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise across a broad spectrum of medical disciplines, including primary care, urgent care, and geriatrics This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive patient-centered care in diverse settings, utilizing advanced EMR/EHR systems like Office Ally with telehealth platforms and familiarity with ICD-10 coding are highly valued. The Family Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality healthcare services across inpatient, outpatient, and home care environments. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments across various age groups, including adult and geriatric populations. Manage acute and chronic conditions such as pain management, infectious diseases, dementia care, Alzheimer's disease, chronic diseases, and behavioral health issues. Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing laboratory testing, medical imaging, sonography, and specimen collection/processing. Administer injections , IV infusionsand sterile procedures following aseptic techniques. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on health coaching topics such as nutrition, family planning, medication administration (including injections), and disease prevention strategies. Ensure infection control protocols are followed during all procedures; maintain sterile processing standards when applicable. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in internal medicine, emergency medicine, occupational health protocols, and other specialties. Skills Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology relevant to primary care Skilled in performing complex procedures, including suturing, phlebotomy/venipuncture, catheter care and management of indwelling devices (e.g., Foley catheters), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Expertise in managing acute pain cases and utilizing CPT coding for billing purposes; familiarity with ICD-10 coding to ensure accurate documentation Experience working with diverse populations, including adults, geriatric patients (including memory and dementia care), and individuals with developmental disabilities Ability to effectively triage patients in urgent care settings Excellent bilingual communication skills in Vietnamese and English, with a focus on patient education; able to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
Pay:
$140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
