Wound Care Provider- PA/NP Ventura Wound Care Santa Barbara, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time | PRN | Per diem $70 - $120 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Mileage reimbursement Flexible schedule Qualifications Nurse Practitioner (NP) DEA License Advanced practice provider Patient assessment visits Physician Assistant License Full Job Description Ventura Wound Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing mobile wound care practice serving patients throughout Santa Barbara County . This position offers exceptional flexibility and can be structured as part-time (1-2 days per week) or expanded into a full-time role for providers interested in serving both Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. Position Highlights Flexible schedule Part-time or full-time opportunities available Mobile practice providing care in patients' homes, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing settings Competitive compensation Mileage reimbursement Paid training and mentorship in advanced wound care Opportunity to grow with a small, supportive, physician-led practice Responsibilities Perform comprehensive wound assessments Develop and implement treatment plans Perform debridement procedures (training available depending on experience and credentials) Apply advanced wound care therapies and skin substitutes Collaborate with physicians, home health agencies, and facility staff Complete documentation in our electronic health record Qualifications Active California NP or PA license DEA registration preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work independently in the field Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Santa Barbara County Wound care experience preferred but not required for the right candidate Compensation Competitive per-visit compensation Mileage reimbursement Additional paid administrative time for meetings and training About Ventura Wound Care Ventura Wound Care is a physician-led mobile wound care practice dedicated to bringing advanced wound care directly to patients throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.
