Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant (PA) and/or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a cardiology setting, but training will be provided to exceptional candidates. A minimum of 1 year of experience as a PA or NP in a hospital or clinic setting is required. This is an excellent opportunity to work with Ventura County's premier cardiology practice. Responsibilities Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and cardiovascular assessments Exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality care and concern with all patients Order and interpret diagnostic studies (e.g., EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests) Create and implement treatment plans in coordination with cardiologists Provide education to patients regarding diagnoses, medications, and lifestyle modifications Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR Participate in follow-up care and patient management Work closely with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes Qualifications Active and unrestricted California Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (required) Cardiology experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment Benefits Competitive base salary Performance-based bonus structure Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) Paid vacation and sick time Supportive, physician-led work culture Opportunities for professional growth and mentorship Schedule Full-time Monday to Friday No call or weekend coverage required Location On-site in Ventura, CA Not a remote position How to Apply Please submit your resume and cover letter describing your relevant experience and interest in joining our team.
