Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a full-time basis and provide coverage at our clinics in Fresno, Tulare and Kings Counties. The clinics' hours vary and are generally open Monday through Saturday between 8 and 10 hours each day. Elite Provider:
Use medical training, skills and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to treat a multi-cultural patient population. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions. Work independently, contacting offsite supervising physician as needed regarding patient care. Responsible for personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long term outcomes. Responsible for seeing all scheduled and walk-in patients each day (approximately 6 to 12 patients daily). Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines. Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks.
