Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in urgent care, hospital medicine, or emergency medicine, with experience in acute care settings. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care across diverse clinical environments, utilizing advanced skills in medical assessment, treatment planning, and patient management. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments to determine diagnoses and treatment plans. Manage acute pain, infectious diseases, fractures, and urgent medical conditions utilizing evidence-based practices. Perform suturing, incision and drainage, toenail excision, and utilize aseptic techniques to ensure safe procedures. Coordinate diagnostic evaluations including radiology and laboratory tests Provide triage and prioritize patient needs by directing patients requiring a higher level of care to local emergency departments Assist with discharge planning, follow-up care, and patient education to promote optimal recovery outcomes. Requirements Current licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with appropriate certification. Experience in hospital environments, emergency departments, primary care and urgent care settings is strongly preferred Proficiency with EMR systems ; tele-health experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on data collection, patient assessment, and adherence to HIPAA regulations.
