Job Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Adult/Family Nurse Practitioners to join our healthcare team in Colorado correctional facilities. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting physical examinations, and prescribing medications.Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies
- Perform procedures such as spinal taps and administer injections
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Utilize case management skills to ensure continuity of care for patients
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Stay up-to-date with current medical research and best practices in nursing
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of [

]- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

- Possess prescriptive/DEA capability
