Full benefits package available for eligible full-time clinicians Position Overview NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our full-time clinical team in Greeley, Colorado . This opportunity is ideal for clinicians who enjoy autonomy, variety, and practicing in a fast-paced urgent care environment while maintaining strong work-life balance. A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is required. NextCare clinicians benefit from predictable scheduling, collaborative clinic teams, and accessible medical leadership . Our full-time schedules are designed so clinicians are off more days than they work , while still practicing engaging and meaningful medicine. Providers treat a broad patient population with generally low-to-moderate acuity conditions , allowing clinicians to utilize a wide range of diagnostic and procedural skills without inpatient responsibilities. Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Colorado NP or PA license
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care required
NP:
Family Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC or AANP required)PA:
NCCPA certification required- Active DEA license or ability to obtain
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered) Preferred Qualifications
- Prior urgent care or emergency medicine experience
- Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care
