unlikely Clinical mix: OR first assist, inpatient care, and outpatient clinic Practice setting Dedicated thoracic surgery practice emphasizing minimally invasive and robotic procedures Case mix includes lung and foregut surgery Team-oriented surgical and inpatient environment Key responsibilities Serve as first assist in thoracic surgical cases, including robotic procedures Manage outpatient clinic visits and pre-/post-operative evaluations Provide inpatient care: daily rounding, admissions, and discharges Collaborate with surgeons, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain timely, accurate EMR documentation Qualifications Active Connecticut NP or PA license required Proven experience in non-cardiac thoracic surgery required Robotic surgery experience required Experience with minimally invasive thoracic procedures preferred Comfortable managing both inpatient and outpatient thoracic surgical patients
