Job Description

  • APP Primary Care opening in Bristol, CT
  • Hartford 19m We are seeking an experienced Primary Care NP/PA to join our team in Bristol, Connecticut. This established, multi-provider office features an onsite pharmacist who helps manage complex diabetic and hypertensive patients. You'll grow as an APP while working alongside an experienced, collaborative team and caring for a diverse patient population.
  • Full-time or Part-time
  • 4-day work week available if desired

  • Role Scope
  • Perform routine physical examinations, and formulate medical, educational, and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, e.g., referral to other health team members or specialists.
  • Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the provider's practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.
  • Requirements
  • Licensure:
    Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
  • Training:
    APRN (Family, Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or PA
Experience:
2+ years' experience in a primary care or relevant outpatient setting
