Responsible for efficient and effective operion of a medical service to render trement and medical care in a primary care setting. Assesses individuals/families and develops a care plan based on physical and psycho- social stus and on the needs of the pient and diagnoses minor/acute and chronic conditions and provides counseling to individuals, families, and/or groups. Prepares written or computerized, complete, accure documention on all pients evalued in the clinical setting and provides trement of minor/acute and chronic conditions. Prescribes a variety of medicions to pients in an outpient clinic, based on MTF policy and performs routine histories and physicals. Determines in accordance with existing protocol whether trement is within the scope of his/her professional abilities making referrals and consultion to a variety of multidisciplinary services. Degree:
A gradue or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associe degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educional program in Family Medicine or reled specialty is required. Gradues of foreign nursing schools must have completed the Commission on Gradues of Foreign Nursing Schools Certificion Program.
