NP / PA opportunity in Hartford, Connecticut within a leading Level I Trauma Center offering market-leading compensation, premium night differentials, strong benefits, and generous PTO. Join a high-acuity Surgical Critical Care ICU team at Hartford Hospital, working permanent nights with no call while managing complex trauma, surgical, and transplant patients in one of New England's most advanced academic medical environments. Full-time, permanent night shift schedule with rotating day/night structure depending on unit needs. No call responsibilities. Inpatient Surgical Critical Care ICU role within a Level I Trauma Center. Manage high-acuity patients including complex trauma, transplant, vascular, general surgery, neurosurgery, and interventional radiology cases. Work within a multidisciplinary critical care team in a fast-paced academic environment. Ideal for Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with ICU experience. Minimum 1-2 years of recent critical care APP experience required. Must be comfortable independently managing ICU patients on night shift. Responsibilities include ventilator management, resuscitation, and critical care procedures within APP scope. Collaborative practice model with established physician oversight and ICU protocols. Access to one of the most advanced robotic surgery programs in the Northeast. Exposure to cutting-edge care through the Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation (CESI). Strong institutional emphasis on provider development, mentorship, and ongoing education. EPIC electronic medical record system for streamlined care coordination.
