Facility:
This specialized behavioral health hospital provides comprehensive inpatient psychiatric services for adults. The facility features a 56-bed unit focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered mental health care and recovery.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide full-time coverage for an inpatient adult psychiatric unit. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative behavioral health setting while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Job Details:
Provide full-time FNP services in an inpatient adult psychiatric unit Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and oversee medical care Manage a daily patient census of approximately 10-12 patients Work within a 56-bed specialized behavioral health facility Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams ASAP start with ongoing assignment availability
Requirements:
Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner license Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required Experience in behavioral health or inpatient settings preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
